At
the top of each course homepage, you'll see the course
menu [1] which is a set
of links that will take you to the various section
of your course. The course menu will stay in the
top frame of your screen, so you'll always
be able to find your way around, no matter where
you are in the course.
The
course homepage also contains News messages [2]
from your instructor. News messages are like the
announcements your instructor might give at the
beginning of a class – such as assignment
reminders or tips for staying on track in the course.
News messages are dated, making it easy for you
find them and re-read them if you need to.
The
course homepage also tells you if you have new
email messages or discussion messages ready
to be read, reminds you of assignment due
dates, and links you to a calendar tool
[3].
