Nathan Albrecht
Do you ever wonder how new people feel when they come into your church? Does what you do and say on a Sunday help new people get connected to your faith community? We’ve asked Nathan Albrecht, lead pastor of LakePoint Family Church in Leamington, Ontario, to join us and talk about how his church has been consistently shifting toward focusing on assimilating new people. He will chat with us about strategies that his team and congregation have put in place to help new people feel integrated and at home in their community. You’ll get a chance to ask him questions that can help you do the same in your church.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Greg BoydIn last year’s release of his two volume work on The Crucifixion of the Warrior God, along with the shorter version in Cross Vision: How the Crucifixion of Jesus Makes Sense of Old Testament Violence, Greg Boyd has given us a model of interpretation that is challenging our long held evangelical approach of how to interpret the stories in Scripture that describe God as a violent deity. Join us as we chat with him about what motivated him to write these two important books and how it can influence our preaching and teaching. You’ll get a chance to pitch your own questions as we engage with him. Greg is Senior Pastor of Woodland Hills Church in St. Paul Minnesota and author of several books including The Myth of a Christian Nation, Letters from a Skeptic, The Jesus Legend and Repenting of Religion.
