Rev. Rich Janes is the twelfth President of Master’s College and Seminary and comes to the position with vision and passion. Prior to becoming president, he had served as Director of Recruiting, Communications, and FIRST YEAR Program since 2009. He has a Bachelor of Theology Honours Degree (Youth Major), and has been involved in youth ministry for more than 17 years, having served at Liberty Pentecostal Church in Bowmanville, ON (six years) and Woodvale in Ottawa (eleven years) as Pastor of Student Ministries and Parent Networking. Rich is a student himself and is currently working on his MA.
To his new role as President, Rich brings an understanding of this generation of future leaders, a strong belief in the local church, a collegial leadership style, and a philosophy of partnership. He is a creative, passionate leader who is deeply committed to the emerging generation and the potential of Master’s to influence their life and future in and for God. Rich is married to Kim and they have four children: Kent, Michaela, Kaeden and Hayley.

Rev. Dr. Peter Neumann
Rev. Dr. Peter Neumann accepted the position to serve as the Academic Dean at Master’s in 2016. He joined the Master’s team as a faculty member in 2001. In addition to his role as Academic Dean, Peter teaches in the areas of systematic theology. He also served for eleven years as a pastor on staffs of churches in Richmond Hill and Markham. Peter completed his PhD in theology in 2010, which focused on Pentecostal theology and experience of God. His book, Pentecostal Experience: An Ecumenical Encounter, was published in 2012.
Peter lives in Pickering with his wife Sharon and their two children, Nathanael and Mikayla, along with their dogs, Copper and Xeno. He enjoys playing softball, reading a variety of genres, golfing, and dabbling in computer technology.

Rev. Merv Anthony
Dean of Educational Services
Prior to coming to Master’s in June 1998, Rev. Merv Anthony was involved in the education system in Newfoundland for 15 years, primarily as a guidance counsellor. Merv has a ministerial diploma from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College (1979), a B.A. and B.Ed degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland (1983) and a M.Ed degree from University of Ottawa (1988). He holds ministerial credentials with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. As Dean of Educational Services, Merv particularly enjoys his interaction with the students.
Merv and his wife Flora have two adult children: Rahel, who is pastoring with her husband Dan, and Ryan.

Vice-President Institutional Effectiveness
Linda Gibson comes to the Vice-President Institutional Effectiveness position at Master’s College & Seminary with extensive experience in a variety of educational contexts. Since 1999, Linda has been providing program and curriculum design, assessment, faculty development and teaching expertise to colleges, universities and public sector organizations throughout Canada and the US. Prior to that, she spent five years with the University of Guelph providing leadership in curriculum design and faculty development for the Office of Open Learning, including an initiative in Cameroon, Africa.
Linda has won awards for course design and has created and taught on-campus and DE courses for Master’s, Emmanuel Bible College, the University of Waterloo, and the University of Guelph. She has worked with Academic Success Centres and Teaching Support Services in a variety of college and university settings. Linda is also a learner coach for eLearn Campus (Vancouver, BC) and has a special interest in emerging learning technologies. In 2002, Linda began working with Master’s and prior to accepting the position of Vice-President Institutional Effectiveness in 2016, served as the Academic Dean.
Linda is a graduate of Eastern Pentecostal Bible College and holds credentials with the PAOC. She has a diploma in Broadcasting (Confederation College), a BA (University of Waterloo), an MSc in Adult/Extension Education (University of Guelph), and has completed PhD courses in the Curriculum Design program at OISE (University of Toronto).
Linda and her husband Graham, who is a professor at Master’s, live in Peterborough, ON. Linda is committed to providing innovative theological education that engages and changes the intellect, the heart and the spirit of our students and strengthens our Fellowship.

Rev. Luciano Lombardi
Director of Leadership Development and Distance Education
Rev. Luciano Lombardi is presently serving as the Director of Leadership Development and Distance Education at Master’s College and Seminary. He has served us at Master’s since 2002, helping to shape the lives of our future ministry leaders. He also is a professor at the college teaching courses in New Testament and Theology. He is cofounder of Leadership Coaching Canada [www.leadershipcoachingcanada.com] and the author of two books; A New Humanity: A Walk through the Letter of Ephesians: Guardian Books 2014 and Coaching Changes Everything: Make Coaching Part of Your Leadership Behaviour; Leadership Coaching Canada 2015. He regularly shares his insights from his classes as he teaches and preaches throughout our fellowship. He has served as a transitional pastor and a member of the Western Ontario District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Luciano is also a Professional Coach and Coach Trainer [www.coachlombardi.ca] supporting ministry leaders with coaching and coaching training to enhance their ministry skills and develop coaching environments within their churches and leadership teams.
He is married to his beautiful wife Jennifer. Along with their two daughters; they live in Mississauga and regularly attend Portico Community Church when he is not helping a congregation transition to new leadership.

Rev. Christopher Chase
Dean of Students and Communications Strategist
Rev. Christopher Chase joined the Master’s College and Seminary team in August 2013 as Director of Recruiting, FIRST YEAR program and Urban/Cultural Relations. Prior to this, he spent 9 years pastoring in Student Ministries, serving at Flemingdon Park Pentecostal Church in Toronto, Ontario (1 year) and Agincourt Pentecostal Church (8 1/2 years) as Assistant Pastor overseeing Student Ministries and Creative Arts. Chris graduated from Master’s in 2005 (Bachelor of Theology: Youth Ministry) and is currently working towards his MTS in Pentecostal Studies through Master’s Pentecostal Seminary. In 2016 Chris accepted the position as Dean of Students and Communications Strategist.
Chris is married to Rebecca and enjoys his days with her and their two children, Eliana and Liam. When not with them or at MCS, he enjoys spending time studying cultural shifts and how the next generation of leaders can speak into those shifts and point people to a greater truth. In his role at MCS, Chris desires to see our fellowship’s large urban centre churches equipped with graduates from MCS who have an understanding of multigenerational, multi social and multicultural needs and to help them create that foundation from the moment they step on campus.

Director of Corporate Services
Robin joined the Master’s team in September 2013. He comes with a wide range of experience gained over a 40 year period. He established and owned his own business for 16 years. He was employed by United Cooperatives of Ontario for 16 years during which time he worked in Seed Corn Research, managed a Fertilizer Plant and later a Retail Branch in Carp Ontario. During his time at these facilities he was able to improve the overall operations, allowing for significant contributions to the company. He also worked for Gideons International in Canada for 20 years. In the various communities where he has lived, Robin demonstrated servant leadership and love for God’s people by serving on church boards.
In addition to his employment experience, Robin brings to Master’s a heart for service, love of young people, and competency in his field. Robin and his wife Dorinda have moved to Peterborough from Guelph. They have 2 grown children.
